Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities, no steps are being taken and the petitioners being senior citizens are suffering because of the act and action of the private respondent nos.6 and 7 who happen to be the son and the daughter-in-law respectively.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the police authorities have enquired and found that no cognizable offence has been made out and, as such, in a family feud they did not interfere with the dispute.

Be that as it may, I direct that in case the petitioners face further inconveniences, petitioners will file a fresh representation. Consequently police

authorities will ascertain the veracity of the accusations and take steps adhering to the provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11560 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
