1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The matter relates to execution of a lease deed in respect of a residential plot allotted in favour of the petitioner by the Asansol Durgapur Development Authority (ADDA).

3. In 2019 a notice to show cause was issued to the petitioner seeking explanation for the delay in execution of the deed of lease. The petitioner claims to have replied to the show cause.

4. The petitioner alleges that since thereafter there has been no communication from the end of ADDA. The petitioner is ready and agreeable to proceed to execute the deed of lease.

5. Learned advocate representing ADDA is not ready with proper instruction.

6. As it appears that there is a reply to the show cause notice issued by ADDA and there is no final order thereafter from the end of the authority, accordingly, the instant writ petition

is disposed of by directing ADDA to pass a reasoned order in response to the reply filed by the petitioner in accordance with law after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

7. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

8. The writ petition stands disposed of.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
