Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Singur P.S. Case No.526 of 2024 being initiated on 09.11.2024 under the relevant provisions of Sections 380/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code but there were no recoveries and the police authorities did not act in accordance with law, thereby taking efforts for unearthing the truth. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that in connection with the aforesaid case chargesheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court against three accused persons including the private respondent who has been shown as absconding. Report also reflects the prayer has been

advanced for further investigation which was allowed by the learned Magistrate on 06.06.2025.

Having considered that the police authorities themselves were dissatisfied with the manner in which the investigation has taken place, I direct that the Additional S.P./S.D.P.O/D.S.P-in-Charge of Singur Police Station will monitor the further investigation and after a period of 90 days from the date of commencement of such further investigation inform the progress of the investigation to the de facto complainant. In case such information is not received by the de facto complainant, the de facto complainant would approach the jurisdictional court for compliance of the statutory dictates.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11576 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
