The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the prescribed authority to conclude the proceeding on the basis of the letter dated 14th May, 2025 for removal of the private respondent.

It appears from the report that by an order passed on 25th June, 2025 the prescribed authority/Block Development Officer, Jalangi Murshidabad has disposed of the letter submitted by the petitioner.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition. The same is disposed of. However, in the event the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision taken by the prescribed authority, he is at liberty to take necessary steps in accordance with law.

The writ petition is thus disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
