The writ application has been preferred praying for police protection though a complaint has been filed before the police authorities on 15th May, 2026.

It is submitted that no action has been taken by the police on the basis of the said complaint. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the respondent no. 5 shall consider his representation dated 15th May, 2026 in accordance with law in the interest of justice. 4.

Learned advocate for the State submits that on filing a report that no formal complaint has been lodged by the petitioner herein.

It is thus directed that the petitioner is at liberty to file a proper complaint with local police authorities under the appropriate provisions of law.

Report filed be kept with the record.

The learned counsel for the State further submits that peace and tranquility prevails in the locality as on date 8.

It appears that the said letter of complaint is not part of the relief as prayed for in the writ application. But in the interest of justice the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no. 5 shall consider the complaint dated 15th May, 2026 in accordance with law within fifteen days from the date of this order. 9.
