Complaining illegal constriction at the best of the private respondent no. 6 at premises no. 1, Mondal Para, P.O.- Purba Putiari, P.S.- Regent Park, Kolkata700 093 and the failure on the part of the municipal authorities to take steps on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioners, the present writ petition has been filed.

Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and upon scrutinizing the writ petition, it does not appear that any complaint has been lodged with the municipal authorities, though a

complaint in this regard appears to have been lodged with the local police station.

Having regard to the above, I am of the view that there is no scope for this Court to issue any direction on the municipal authorities.

The above order shall, however, not interfere in the right of the petitioner to make an appropriate representation with the municipality.

If such representation is made, the municipality shall here out and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
