Despite service, none appears for the private respondent nos. 6 to 9, although the other respondents are represented through counsel.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contends that, in spite of having applied with requisite fees for obtaining a new electric connection at the petitioner's premises, the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (in short 'WBSEDCL') has not yet given such connection.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 3, by placing reliance on the Annexure- P2 at page - 16 of the writ petition, submits that it was specifically communicated to the petitioner that, due to

obstruction being raised by the private respondents, such connection could not be given to the petitioner's premises.

Since the respondent nos. 1 to 3 have not pointed out any specific legal objection to give such new connection to the premises of the petitioner, WPA No. 12386 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the respondent nos. 1 to 3 to ensure that new electric connection is given to the premises of the petitioner, pursuant to the petitioner's application, following due process of law, by November 15, 2021.

The private respondent nos. 6 to 9 are restrained from raising any unlawful objection to such connection. In the event of any unlawful obstruction on the part of the private respondent nos. 6 to 9, the respondent nos. 1 to 3 shall be free to approach the respondent no. 5 for granting appropriate police assistance for giving such connection.

There will be no order as to costs.

The parties as well as all concerned shall act on the server copy of this order without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy thereof.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
