Learned Counsel for the State submits that the medical officer has been examined.
We have perused the evidence. As the trial has commenced we do not wish to interfere with the case on its own merits. Keeping in mind the matured stage of the proceeding and the protracted period of detention suffered by the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date preferably within six months from the
