The writ application has been preferred challenging a notice under Memo No.

PM/Bidg/603/02/1224(6) dated 20.05.2026 issued by the Executive Officer, Panskura Municipality/the respondent no. 8.

It appears from the materials on record that the petitioner has been served with a stop work notice on 20.05.2026.

On receiving the said notice the petitioner has filed a representation seeking time for a joint inspection before the Executive Officer/respondent no. 8.

Considering the fact that the impugned notice is a show cause notice to stop work, this Court is not inclined to interfere at this stage, but the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the authorities concerned shall hear the petitioner and also consider his representation as and when a proceeding for demolition is initiated by the authority concerned.

Writ application stands disposed of.

Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

7.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

8.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
