The State of West Bengal and another The present revisional application has been preferred challenging the continuance of proceedings relating to Case No.C/14 of 2017 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

The contentions advanced in the present revisional application relate to issue of facts regarding the relationship and the steps taken by either of the parties.

Records of the revisional application reflect that the revisional application appeared on 16th November, 2021. Thereafter, the revisional application was never considered or pursued before this Court.

Having regard to the time period which has elapsed in the meantime and the progress of the case, I am of the view that the issues so canvassed without being appreciated by the learned trial court do not require any interference by this Court. Accordingly, CRR 1556 of 2021 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
