We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses prima facie show recovery of 1 kg brown sugar i.e. heroin from the petitioner. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier on merits. Thereafter trial has substantially progressed and ten witnesses have been examined. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner either on merits or on the ground of delay. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
