Status report submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Detective Department, Lalbazar through the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record. Report reflects that the learned trial court is not proceeding to frame the charges only because of the reason that a writ petition is pending before the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta being WPA 7350 of 2020.

Mr. Joy Chakraborty, learned advocate appears on behalf of the opposite party nos. 1 & 2. He submits an order

dated 20.12.2021 which however do not reflect that any interim order has been passed staying the proceedings before the learned trial court.

Accordingly, the learned trial court is directed to proceed with the framing of charges on the next date so fixed i.e., 20th January, 2022.

Mr. Sourav Chatterjee, learned advocate appears as Amicus Curiae and was engaged by the High Court Legal Services Authority. Learned advocate has mentioned the matter and has drawn the attention of this court also regarding the pendency of the writ petition. I direct the learned special court that until and unless there is a specific interim order restraining the proceedings in the trial court, the learned court should proceed with the trial of the case and take the same to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the criminal revisional jurisdiction being CRR 1560 of 2021 disposed of. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J. )
