In the matter of : Tokon Halsana ..... petitioners Mr. Prabir Majumder ....For the petitioners Ms. Sukanya Bhattacharyya Md. Kutubuddin .....For the State It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that charge in this case was framed on February 26, 2021 and thereafter, inspite of schedule for fixing the evidence for four times, the evidence has not yet coming.

In this pandemic situation, the delay in conducting the trial cannot be attributed to the learned Judge in the Court below. However, keeping in mind the innocuous nature of the prayer made in the petition, this application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Judge in the Court below to make an endeavour to expedite and conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a year from the date of resumption of the normal functioning of the Court.

The revisional application being CRR 1551 of 2021 is disposed of.
