The petitioner is an ex-employee of the Directorate of Medical Education last posted as the RMO-cum-Clinical Tutor, Department of Cardiology at NRS Medical College and Hospital. He submitted his resignation which has not been accepted by the authority by passing a reasoned order on January 29, 2026. The same is impugned in the instant writ petition.

The petitioner has already refunded a sum of rupees ten lakh through the GRIPS portal. Prayer has been made to direct the respondent authority to accept his resignation.

Learned counsel representing the State is directed to revert with written instruction.
