Case No.313 of 2025 dated 24.10.2025 under Sections 420/406/120B/34 of the IPC, 1860. And In the matter of: Apu Mondal @ Apurba Mondal ... petitioner Mr. Imran Siddiqui Mr. Rudra Prasad Sinha Ms. Moontaha Sadar Mr. Irfan Jabed Ali ... for the petitioner Mr. Gouranga Das Ms. Priti Kar Bagchi ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been named in the FIR. He has been falsely implicated in this case. There is an allegation that the petitioner had taken money to give government job. However, he was himself a victim of such fraud. The main perpetrator is the uncle of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He also relies on the statements of witnesses and other documents, especially the statement of the victim, which had mentioned the name of the present petitioner as one of the perpetrators of such fraud.

Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
