The petitioner is aggrieved by the alleged inaction on the part of the Shyampur Police Station in investigating into a complaint filed by them against the private respondent. The private respondents have in turn filed a complaint against the petitioner. It is also alleged by the petitioner that since an FIR has been registered also under the provisions of POCSO Act, appointment a lady investigating officer or presence of a lady constable is not being followed by the Shyampur Police Station.

Learned Senior Counsel for the State submits that the FIR of the petitioner and the counter FIR by the private respondents against the petitioner are a result of a dispute relating to certain property. Be that as it may, this Court directs the Shyampur Police Station to complete investigation into the Shyampur Police Station Case No. 270 of 2021

dated 8th July, 2021 and Shyampur Police Station Case No. 287 of 2021 dated 21st July, 2021 mandatorily and positively within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

Final reports may be submitted to the jurisdictional Magistrate and it shall be open to the parties to take steps, inter alia, under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
