It appears from the records that an application for grant of Bar-cum-Restaurant licence is pending since February 19, 2020. In such circumstances, the respondent no. 3 is requested to consider and decide the application of the petitioner dated February 19, 2020 in accordance with law. The respondent no. 3 will afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The respondent no. 3 is at liberty to hear such other parties and consult such documents as he deems necessary. He will communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner and to the parties that he heard forthwith thereafter. It is expected that

respondent no. 3 completes the entire exercise within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order to him. In the event, it is found that the deciding authority is an authority other than the respondent no. 3 then, the respondent no. 3 will transmit the application dated February 19, 2020 to such authority for decision.

WPA 12368 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of the requisite formalities.
