No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 2021 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Beldanga Police Station Case No. 190 of 2023 dated 16.03.2023 under Sections 448/323/325/326/307/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Taher Sk. @ Md. Taher Ali ...... petitioner Ms. Minoti Gomes ....for the petitioner Md. Anwar Hossain Mr. Arif Ekbal Molla ....for the State The injured suffered incised injury on the stomach by a knife. The victim states that, the knife injury was inflicted by Anikul Sk. He states that, the present petitioner assaulted him with an iron rod. About 13 stitches were required to be given to the victim to take care of the wound suffered. There is an issue of attempt to murder.

Petitioner is involved in the incident of assault as narrated by the victim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 2021 of 2023 is dismissed.
