Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for four months and was shown arrested in connection with the instant case. There were subsequent recoveries on 12th of February almost after four days of police custody and the same was purposefully effected at the wee hours of the night to avoid any independent witnesses. From an abundant place a sum of Rs.48,000/- was shown to have been recovered and the petitioner has been foisted with a criminal case. Petitioner challenges the search and seizure which has been carried out in the instant case in respect of the alleged recovery of the FICN. Learned advocate for the State has produced the Case Diary and submitted that there are criminal antecedents of the present petitioner. It has also been contended that the seizure which were effected do corroborate the opinion of the expert. There are other accused persons who are absconding till date and the investigation

of the case is still in progress waiting submission of supplementary charge-sheet.

Having considered the materials which have been collected presently against the petitioner and the factum of further investigation is in progress, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 1343 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
