1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Trial is in progress. Offences, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. It is strongly contended vital witnesses have been turned hostile. Impact of their depositions on the prosecution case must be alnalysed in light of other evidence on record.

3. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

5. Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
