Mr. Subrato Roy ...... for the State We have considered the materials on record. Victim is a mentally challenged person and was repeatedly ravished by the petitioner.

In view of the gravity of the offence and as his prayer for bail was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
