Mr. Avishek Bhandari Mr. Rupam Gupta ... for the petitioner This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 2nd Court. at Barasat to dispose of Title Suit No. 46 of 2024 expeditiously.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that this is a suit for eviction and the same is required to be disposed of expeditiously.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to issue notice upon the opposite parties.

However, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocates representing them before the learned trial judge. From the order-sheets appended to this civil revisional application this Court finds that 14th July, 2025 has been fixed for acceptance of the show cause

petition filed by the defendant and for condonation of cost petition.

In view thereof, C.O. 1858 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 2nd Court at Barasat to take up the hearing of the applications praying for acceptance of the show cause and for condonation of cost on the next date fixed i.e. on 14th July, 2025 and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. If the suit is otherwise ready for hearing the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 2nd Court at Barasat shall make an endeavour to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
