The petitioners participated in the recruitment process to the post of Assistant Teacher conducted by the DPSC, Malda in the year 2009.

Challenging their non-recruitment to the above post, they filed WPA 5105 of 2021. The writ petition was dismissed for default on 4th April, 2022. No application has been made for seeking recall of the order of dismissal or restoring the writ petition.

The instant writ petition has been filed on 1st May, 2024. The petitioners, therefore, cannot come within the cut off date mentioned in the order dated 26th April, 2024 passed in WPA 25712 of 2022 (Md.

Asiruddin and Ors. Vs. State of West Bengal and Ors.). The cut off date, is 31st March, 2024.

Hence, no relief can be granted to the writ petitioners.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
