In compliance with the direction dated July 04, 2025, the Assistant Registrar (Acting) of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, the respondent no. 3 herein, files the report, which is taken on record.

The petitioner, namely, Lalgola Teachers Training Academy, a college affiliated to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, is a non-Government self-financed Private College providing Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Course to the students.

The petitioner College had failed to upload the credentials of 37 merit-listed candidates, who took admission in the said college to pursue the B. Ed. Course for the academic session 2024-2026, in the designated portal of the said University within the scheduled date, i.e. April 12, 2025, as a result, they are yet to be registered with the University for the said course. The portal is now closed.

The petitioner College is praying that the said candidates be registered with the University to complete the admission process.

This Court, had allowed prayer of the similarly placed students of a similar type of B.Ed. College namely Sanjoy College of Education in W.P.A. 9983 of 2025 vide order dated July 14, 2025 subject to payment of costs of Rs. 50,000/- for each student to the University.

The said order was assailed in appeal being MAT 1115 of 2025.

The Hon'ble Division Bench, by the order dated July 30, 2025 has reduced the amount of the said costs to Rs. 20,000/- for each student.

In view of such mandate of the Hon'ble Division Bench, the prayer of the petitioner College is allowed. The university is directed to register the said 37 students of the said college to complete the admission process enabling the said students to pursue the B.Ed. course for the academic sessions 2024-2026 subject to payment of costs of Rs. 20,000/- for each student by the said College to the University.

The said registration be done as expeditiously as possible.

This order has been passed in the facts and circumstances of the present case, particularly, to protect the interest of the students, as such cannot be treated as a precedent.

W.P.A. 11610 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms.
