Today, the learned advocate for the petitioner appears before this Court and submits that the petitioner does not want to proceed with the writ petition.

Under such circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.

This Court has not decided the merits and this order shall not be construed as an observation that the alleged construction is legal and authorized.

The report filed by the police authorities is taken on record.

There will be however no order as to costs.
