1. A report is submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnor dated 5th March, 2026 declaring therein about compliance of this Court's order by the alleged contemnor by considering and disposing of the petitioners' prayer for remission of sentence.

2. Let that be taken on record.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioners Mr. Surajit Basu is not satisfied with the compliance report.

4. In view of the specific direction of the Court in order dated 30th October, 2024 in WPA 25963 of 2024 that the respondents should consider the prayer of the

petitioners for remission of sentence afresh on the basis of the declaration made by it in the report dated 29th October, 2024, it appears that by considering and taking decision as regards petitioners' prayer as above, the concerned alleged contemnor has complied with the Court's order.

5. In such view of the fact, the Court considers no further point of adjudication remains pending in the instant contempt proceeding being WPCRC 31 of 2026.

6. Hence, the same is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
