This is an application for expeditious disposal of NDPS Case No.12 of 2021. It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioners that the petitioners were arrested in connection with Raghunathganj Police Station Case No.671 of 2020 under Sections 21 (c )/29 of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act being NDPS Case No.12 of 2021.

The Investigating Officer submitted charge-sheet against the petitioners on 30th May, 2021. In the application it is not averred by the learned Advocate for the petitioners as to whether the

Investigating Officer has filed chemical examination report of the seized contraband articles and supplementary charge-sheet. Admittedly charge has not been framed against the accused in the instant case. Therefore, question of expeditious trial does not arise.

However, this Court directs the Trial Court to take proactive step for obtaining chemical examination report of the seized contraband articles and supplementary charge-sheet in connection with NDPS Case No.12 of 2021 within one month from the date of communication of this order.

Petitioners are at liberty to place the server copy of the order in the Trial Court obtaining server copy of this Court. The instant revision, is, thus, disposed of.
