1. By this public interest writ petition, the petitioner also seeks for grant of a fair price shop license but however, in a different area and he alleges that the license granted in favour of the private respondent is illegal.

2. We find that the cause of action cannot be treated to be a matter in public interest. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to move the appropriate forum for necessary relief.

3. No costs.

4. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
