The petitioners are aggrieved by the compensation assessed by the authority for acquisition of their land under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines Act, 1962. The petitioners seek to withdraw the writ petition and approach the appropriate forum for redressal of their grievance under Section 10(2) of the Act.

In view of the above, the writ petition, being WPA 11896 of 2023, is dismissed for non-prosecution. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of their grievance. There shall however, be no order as to costs.
