Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that considering the economic condition of the petitioner and the fact that there is tardy progress of trial, bail should be granted.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the earlier order of rejection and to the contents of the case diary.

The earlier order of rejection is dated September 22, 2020. The functioning of the court stands affected due to ongoing pandemic. Therefore, it cannot be said that there is tardy progress in the trial. Moreover, there is hardly any change in the circumstances since the earlier order of rejection of bail. We are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. CRM 5197 of 2021 is dismissed.
