Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the prime grievance of the petitioner that no FIR had been lodged on her complaint has now been redressed. However, she is still in fear of further trouble from the relatives of the husband. This is a case where the relatives of the husband are hounding the couple because of the inter-caste marriage.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondents denies the allegations and submits that the whole disputes arose from the issue of control of management of a Shitola Mata Temple.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report filed earlier and submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, a specific FIR being Sankrail PS Case No.345 dated 05.05.2024 has been registered under Sections 447, 354,

504, 506 and 34 of the Penal Code read with Section 3(1)(r)(a) and 3(2)(V) of SC & St (PoA) Act and Section 7(1) (d) of Protection of Civil Rights Act. Investigation is going on. Let the investigation be concluded expeditiously and in accordance with law.

However, the police authorities shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. As affidavits were not called for, allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
