By filing this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for the release and disbursement of their outstanding dues, amounting to Rs. 95,37,925.94, for the "Supply, fitting, and fixing of LED street lights (120 watt) on existing poles at various roads and streets" within the Berhampore Municipal Area under the Green City Mission (GCM).

The petitioners, however, acknowledge that they have already received a sum of Rs. 1,39,13095 in two installments.

Berhampore Municipality is not represented.

There is no justification for keeping this writ petition pending. The petitioners have submitted a representation to the Municipality by a letter dated April 2, 2024, requesting the release of their outstanding dues.

Accordingly, I dispose of this writ petition with a directive to Berhampore Municipality to consider the representation dated April 2, 2024, within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

The Municipality shall provide the petitioners an opportunity to be heard in relation to their representation.

Thus, WPA 12819 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
