Mr. Lalratan Mondal ... for the petitioners Mr. Sukanta Das ... for the respondent nos. 7 & 8 Although this writ petition has been filed alleging unauthorized construction by respondent nos. 7 and 8 on the relevant plot of land, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 7 and 8 submits that the land in question is being used as agricultural land and that no construction has been undertaken by the said respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, however, has been unable to substantiate the allegation of unauthorized construction by producing any supporting documents. In view of the above, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition, while recording the undertaking of learned counsel for respondent nos. 7 and 8 that his clients will not undertake any unauthorised construction on the land in question.

The writ petition, being WPA 13301 of 2024, is accordingly disposed of.
