It appears from the report and is also submitted on behalf of the private opposite party that the private opposite party /de facto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that proceeding with the present matter further shall only be a futile exercise.

The revisional application being CRR 1878 of 2024 is allowed.

GR (S) Case no. 1266 of 2021 pending before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta be quashed.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
