It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are in custody for about 180 days.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the de-facto complainant also opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses including Test Identification Parade report show petitioners were identified as the persons who assaulted the victim and threw him out of the compartment. In view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioners therein and gravity of the offence, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
