Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that CAN 1 of 2021 was rendered infructuous in view of the subsequent transfer of personnel, CAN 1 of 2022 should be considered instead of CAN 1 of 2021.

On November 11, 2022, CAN 1 of 2021 was considered instead of CAN 1 of 2022.

In such circumstances, the portion of the order dated November 11, 2022 dealing with CAN 1 of 2021 is recalled.

CAN 1 of 2021 is disposed of as infructuous. CAN 1 of 2022 is taken up for consideration.

In view of the new incumbent, occupying the post subsequent to the filing of the contempt petition, CAN 1 of 2022 is allowed.

Learned Advocate-on-record for the contempt petitioner is granted leave to correct the cause title of the contempt petition.

It is contended on behalf of the alleged contemnors that the orders stand complied with to the extent that their duties require them to comply with under the provisions of the West Bengal Highways Act, 1964.

Rule directed to be issued on November 11, 2022 be issued now.

The Rule is made returnable on December 9, 2022.
