1. It is submitted by the learned advocate for the writ petitioner that as per a communication dated 15.12.2025 issued by the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Jhargram bearing Memo No. 2865, the authorities are considering the petitioner's claim for compassionate appointment.

2. In view of such submission being advanced and since nothing remains for adjudication in the writ petition we are inclined to dispose of the same, as pendency would be futile.

3. We, however, consider it appropriate that as a result of such consideration the respondent no. 2 should take a final decision in the matter under due intimation to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of.

5. Urgent Photostat Certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all necessary formalities.
