Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of an application under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed before the jurisdictional court and directions being passed, no action has been taken by the police authorities. To that effect, petitioner had been pursuing the same with the police authorities. However, there was no response from the side of the police authorities. State has submitted a report which reflects that on receipt of the petitioner's complaint, Kalitala Ashuti P.S. Case No.10 of 2024 dated 25.01.2024 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code and on conclusion of investigation charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court concerned.

So far as subsequent issue which arose between the petitioner and the private respondents, police authorities have maintained law and order and accordingly has also drawn up proceedings under Section 107 of the Cr.P.C.

Having considered the steps taken by the police authorities, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted in view of the steps taken by the police authorities. Accordingly, WPA 13182 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocates appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
