The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the non-payment of compensation in respect of the subject premises.

It is alleged on behalf of the petitioner that notwithstanding the subject premises having been acquired, the petitioner has not received any compensation towards the subject premises.

Mr. De appears on behalf of the State respondents and submits that he has no objection if the representation of the petitioner dated 5th June, 2016 be considered in accordance with law by the Land Acquisition Officer being the respondent No.4 herein. In view of the submission of the parties, I am of the view that the representation of the petitioner dated 5th June, 2016 appearing at Annexure P-4 to the petition be

considered by the respondent No.4 in accordance with law and disposed off within a period of 8 weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving a right of hearing to all the affected parties.

I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the case and the respondent No.4 in considering the representation of the petitioner will not be influenced by any observation of this Court in any manner whatsoever. With the aforesaid directions, WPA 12688 of 2021 stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
