1. Petitioners stand implicated in an incident of assault. Victim recorded a statement under Section 161 of Code of Criminal procedure where she claims that the petitioners kicked her in her stomach as well as all over the body. The date of the incident of assault is January 10, 2024. There is medical document to suggest that the victim was required to undergo abortion on January 13, 2024.

2. A close proximity between the abortion and the date of incident of assault requires investigating the role of the petitioners.

3. Enlarging the petitioners on anticipatory bail at this stage will be inimical to such investigation.

4. Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
