Despite service, none appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos.5 to 7. Affidavit-of-service is taken on record.

The petitioner complains that over the incident of June 10, 2022 with regard to theft of bags of cement, the police authorities of the Rahara Police Station had failed and neglected to take steps.

The police report indicates that pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner, Rahara PS Case No.222 of 2022 dated June 27, 2022 under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code had been registered and an investigation is in progress. With regard to the earlier complaint of the petitioner, Rahara PS Case No.127 of 2022 dated April 26, 2022 under Sections 341/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal

Code had been registered. The investigation was completed and a charge sheet being Charge Sheet No.148 of 2022 under Sections 341/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code was filed. The police report is taken on record. Under such circumstances, the allegation of police inaction, is not substantiated. The police authorities shall ensure that the investigation, which is under progress, shall be reached to its logical conclusion expeditiously and impartially. The Officer-in-Charge, Rahara Police Station is directed to keep a sharp vigil, in order to avoid any further untoward incident.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
