Petitioner has addressed a communication to the Officer-in-Charge, Hogalberia Police Station dated 19.03.2025. The subject matter of the complaint relate to anti-social activities at the behest of the private respondents. Petitioner is further aggrieved that one of the respondent happens to be a civic volunteer who is associated with the local police station and as such the anti-social activities have been carried out in and around the vicinity of the property of the petitioner which is solely with the purpose of grabbing the property, obstructing the peaceful enjoyment of the property and irritating the petitioner.

Police authorities on receipt of the information has already conducted an enquiry and

has sent a requisition to the BL&LRO, Karimpur, Block - I, Nadia.

So far as the act and activities of the private respondents are concerned a proceeding under section 126 BNSS has been drawn up against all the private respondents. The police authorities will not decide in respect of the right, title and interest of the property. However, it is the duty of the police authorities to protect the property of a citizen of this Country.

Accordingly, police authorities would ensure that no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship presently existing between the petitioner and the private respondents and would ensure that there is no breach of the peace at the locality.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 12162 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
