Parties are represented through their respective learned counsels.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he has received an instruction from his client for making a payment of Rs.30,000/- for the release of the vehicle lying in the custody of the private respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that his client has already agreed to the terms and has no objection for releasing of the vehicle upon payment of the agreed amount.

In conspectus of the above, I direct the petitioner to pay Rs.30,000/- to the private respondent within a period of 15 days. Upon payment of the said amount, the said vehicle shall be released preferably within 24 hours.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

On the above terms, this writ petition, WPA 11889 of 2025 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs. (Smita Das De, J.)
