In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for implementation of the resolution of the Board, Regional Transport Authority, Kolkata, dated 30th November, 2021, under Agenda No.2. The resolution is as follows:- "The petitioner and the Secretary, KB-21 appeared before the RTA Board Meeting and they were duly heard.
The RTA Board thoroughly discussed the matter and directed the Secretary, KB-21 Route Bus Owners Welfare Association to follow the original route alignment of Route No.KB-21 and stop illegal plying". According to the petitioner, the said decision of the RTA Board, Kolkata, has not yet been implemented. Hence, he has sought for necessary
direction upon the respondent nos.4 to 7 for implementation of the resolution.
Mr. Deb Roy has appeared for the State respondent.
Record reveals that the Board, RTA, Kolkata, has decided that KB-21 Route Bus Owners Association and the members thereof are to follow the original route alignment on the Route No.KB-21. Therefore, let there be a direction upon the respondent nos.5 to 7 to ensure implementation of the same.
It is directed that the respondent nos.5 to 7 shall take appropriate steps for implementation of the resolution as above. If necessary, they may call the parties for discussion in this regard and take appropriate measures for implementation of the resolution as above, positively, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of.
Since no affidavit is called for in this case, the allegations made in the writ petition, are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
