Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

The instant writ application impugns the inaction on the part of the respondent no.6, i.e., the Pradhan, Chandi Gram Panchayat, Village - Amtala, Post Office - Konyanagar, Police Station - Bishnupur.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners has drawn my attention to the photocopy of the representation addressed to the Pradhan, Chandi Gram Panchayat, with a prayer for granting permission to construct a boundary wall on the land of the petitioners at Plot No.672/891 corresponding to JL No.73 and LR Khatian No.1853 situated at village - Amtala Adarshapally, and submitted that the application was submitted before the respondent no.6 on 3rd April, 2023,

but till date, neither any permission has been granted nor the application submitted by the petitioners has been disposed of.

Given facts and circumstances, the respondent no.6, being the Pradhan, Chandi Gram Panchayat, is directed to dispose of the prayer of the petitioners by a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the concerned parties, including the petitioners, within three weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order and to communicate the said reasoned order to the petitioners within one week thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ application stands disposed of.

All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
