Petitioner complains that he faced inconveniences, while going to Bishnupur Police Station, at the hands of some local goons who threatened him on road and as such he had to return from there. To that effect, information was sent to the Director General of Police. Informations were sent also to the S.P. Bankura, I.C. Bishnupur Police Station and Officer-in-Charge, Behala Police Station. Even the prayer for warrant of arrest advanced before the Court was also refused.

Be that as it may, enquiry was conducted on behalf of the State. A report has been submitted by Sub-Inspector of Police of Bishnupur Police

Station which reflects that there is no law and order issues regarding the information which was furnished by the petitioner to the police authorities. Learned advocate for the private respondent submits that the issues which have been canvassed are a ploy to evade the process of law.

Be that as it may, if the petitioner intends to appear before the Court he would follow the normal statutory compliances. However, in case he is faced with inconvenience he would inform the Bishnupur Police Station wherein the case being Bishnupur Police Station Case No. 67 of 2024 dated 18.03.2024 has been registered for investigation. Needless to state since affidavits have not been called for, the accusations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. With the aforesaid observations WPA 11923 of 2025 is disposed of.
