Learned advocate appearing for the respondents no. 2, 3 and 4 submits that the mother of the petitioner died in 1973. There may be other legal heirs of the deceased.

As noted above, the petitioner requires death certificate of the deceased mother. According to the petitioner, apart from her, there were no other legal heirs. Receipt of the death certificate of the deceased mother of the petitioner, in no stretch of imagination, can be said that the issuing authority recognised the petitioner as the sole legal heir of the deceased or

that the law of succession will stand altered because of issuance of such death certificate.

In such circumstances, respondent no. 3 will issue the death certificate of the deceased mother of the petitioner within seven days from date.

Accordingly, the writ application being WPA 12590 of 2021 is disposed of.
