1. Victim suffered stab injury inflicted by the petitioner.

2. Victim recorded a statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure naming the petitioner as the assailant. At the time of the medical examination also, victim named the petitioner as the assailant who inflicted the stab injury on the victim.

3. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

5. C.R.M. (A) 1625 of 2024 is dismissed.
