Petitioner claims that an advance sum of Rs. 3,00,000/- and Rs. 3,50,000/- were paid for purchasing a property for which the price was fixed at Rs. 46.50 lakhs. In spite of advancing a substantial sum according to the petitioner the private respondents refused to register the property in their favour.

Learned advocate for the respondent no. 4 and the respondent nos. 5 and 6 is present. Both the learned advocates contend that even if the accusations made by the petitioner are accepted to

be true, the same do not make out any cause of action for interference of the police authorities. Learned advocate for the respondent no. 4 categorically denies that any farthing has been received by the respondent no. 4 and the petitioner would be at liable for strict proof of the same, particularly with regard to the payment.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Chandipur PS Case No. 201/25 dated 31.05.2025 has already been registered for investigation.

Be that as it may, since the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred, has been subserved. Further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 11904 of is disposed of.

Needless to state that since no affidavits have been called for the allegations and/or accusations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
