Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite an order passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court on January 15, 2024 in WPA No. 24655 of 2023 directing the police authority to keep sharp vigil at the local to ensure that no breach of peace took place and also that surveillance would include visits by the police patrol, the private opposite parties are continuing to disturb, harass and assault the petitioner and threaten her with dire consequences. The petitioner submitted a representation before the police authority on April 25, 2025 stating the entire fact, which has not been acted upon.

Learned counsel for the private respondents denies and disputes the allegations made by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State refers to the report and submits that regular vigil is being kept by the police

authority in the locale and the police shall render necessary assistance to the petitioner as and when required.

Since this Court has directed the police authority to keep sharp vigil in the locale, ensure that no breach of peace takes place and also continue regular patrolling, the police authority is directed to comply with the said order in its true letter and spirit. The police authority is further directed to take necessary steps in connection with the representation submitted by the petitioner on April 25, 2025 and render all possible assistance to the petitioner as and when required.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
